Little Scientist Wednesday
In one of our science activities, we learned about bats. The children first told us what they knew about bats, and then we read books about bats. The children looked for bats with flashlights in the classroom. We also made bat pictures!
This activity was aligned with the following Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards for Science:
- Express wonder and curiosity about their world, and ask questions.
- Describe and compare basic needs of living things.
Use nonstandard and standard scientific tools for investigation.
