Lutheran Women's Missionary League
(Lutheran Women in Mission)
The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML), with a membership of over 250,000, is the official women's organization of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The LWML focuses on affirming each woman in her relationship with Christ to enable her to be in ministry among the people of the world. For over 60 years the organization has been encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to financially support global missions.

Zion's LWML meets quarterly as they carry out this mission of the church.
 
Lutheran Child and Family Services
The mission of Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois, in response to Christ's love for all people is to provide social services to children, individuals, families and communities so that their well-being is improved.

Some of Zion's women are involved in this exciting ministry of our church body.
 
Lutheran Braille Workers
Lutheran Braille Workers, Inc. provides the message of salvation, through faith in Jesus Christ to the blind and visually impaired throughout the world in many languages.

Each month ladies from Zion congregation meet at a local congregation and help collate books for the blind.
