Classes

Confirmation
Zion has a three year confirmation program for children. A child may enter the program in the 5th grade but can enter at any grade level after 5th. The First Year Class consists of Old Testament History and half of Luther's Small Catechism. The Second Year Class covers New Testament History and completes Luther's Small Catechism. The Third Year Class concentrates on the doctrines of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod as described in Luther's Small Catechism and is confirmed on the first Sunday in May.

New Member Classes
New member classes are held periodically throughout the year, usually in the fall and late spring. The Alpha Course is used at Zion for instruction for people who wish to become members of the body of Christ at Zion Lutheran Church.
