Over 100 years ago, Zion Lutheran Church purchased five acres of land on the northern outskirts of Hinsdale, Illinois for the purpose of creating a cemetery to serve the community with a restful, beautiful setting for departed loved ones and visitors to await the Second Coming of Jesus and the Resurrection. This ministry is a reflection of the hopeful preparation that all God's people are called to in Christ.
Today, he grounds of the cemetery are well maintained by volunteer men and women of the church Cemetary Board, who work diligently every week to keep the grounds in good order, with establisehd procedures and policies that are reviewed annually and amended as necessary.
The cemetery is located at 301 Glendale Avenue, Oak Brook, Illinois, 60523.
