Zion proudly offers Wednesday afternoon Religious Education Courses on Wednesdays at 4pm, from fall to spring. We welcome children ranging from Kindergarten through High School to strengthen their faith, knowledge and discipleship attitudes as they follow Jesus.

Classes are offered K-2nd grade, 3rd-6th grade and Lutheran Confirmation Classes starting as early as 6th grade, if confirmands wish to prepare at a younger age. Please contact the office to register.

• Jesus made a point to say, “Let the little children come to me.” Today, his words continue to invite our children to come and learn from him. Utilizing a dynamic curriculum, this class will focus on learning the stories of the Bible and God’s promises and love for us throughout. In addition to reading, children will have opportunities to sing, work on crafts, and enjoy opportunities for play as a part of learning.
• Kids’ Discipleship will run throughout the fall, winter, and spring, with adjustments made for special holidays and the occasional break. This curriculum features a blended age group, and is appropriate for ages 3-12. It is held in the Dragonfly Room of the ECEC, accessible down the hall from the pastor’s office.

• Men’s Bible Study: Thursdays, 7:30am in the lower level
• Women’s Bible Study: Wednesdays, 9:30am in the meeting room on the main level
• Pastor-led Adult Discipleship: 8:30am on Sundays in the lower level.

Vacation Bible School is offered in mid August each summer. More details on our 2026 program coming soon.
