Creative Cooking Tuesday

Children love to measure and mix.  After listening to the story "If You Give A Pig A Pancake," the children made and ate their own pancakes!

This activity was aligned with the following Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards:

  • Demonstrate a beginning understanding of measurement.

• Science:  11.A.ECa

  • Use senses to explore and observe materials.

• Physical Development and Health:  19.A.ECb

  • Engage in active play using fine motor skills.
